Chateau de Chine Hotel Kaohsiung is part of the renowned Taiwanese hospitality brand LDC Hotels & Resorts, operating under the “Chateau de Chine” series. It is an international boutique hotel designed specifically for business and leisure travelers.
The hotel features a design concept described as “new retro, old-fashioned chic,” with a striking exterior that uses large transparent glass panels and beam lighting to create a radiant presence in the city at night.

Architectural Design and Ambience
The hotel is designed with the concept of “Reviving Elegance Through Dynamic Innovation,” with both its interior and exterior spaces embodying the flowing imagery of the Chinese character “品” and a refined aesthetic of light and shadow. The design was led by renowned designer Shu-Chang Kung, a recipient of the JCD International Design Award for Commercial Spaces.
The building’s façade features transparent glass combined with beam lighting effects, creating the image of a radiant urban star in the nightscape.
From Kaohsiung International Airport
Option 1: MRT + Walking (Recommended)
- Take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line from Kaohsiung International Airport Station (R4).
- Head north and transfer to the Orange Line, getting off at Yanchengpu Station (O2).
- Exit from Exit 2, then walk about 3 minutes to reach the hotel.
Option 2: Taxi / Private Transfer
- Taxis are readily available outside the airport. The ride takes approximately 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
From Zuoying High-Speed Rail (HSR) Station
Option 1: MRT + Walking (Recommended)
- From the HSR Zuoying Station, enter the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line at Zuoying Station (R16).
- Take the train southbound and transfer to the Orange Line, getting off at Yanchengpu Station (O2).
- Exit from Exit 2, then walk about 3 minutes to reach the hotel.
Option 2: Taxi / Private Transfer
- Taxis are available outside the station. The ride takes approximately 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
From Taiwan Railways Kaohsiung Station
Option 1: MRT + Walking (Recommended)
- From Kaohsiung Railway Station, enter the Kaohsiung MRT at Kaohsiung Station (R11/O5).
- Take the train and get off at Yanchengpu Station (O2).
- Exit via Exit 2, then walk about 3 minutes to reach the hotel.
Option 2: Taxi / Private Transfer
- Taxis are available outside the station. The ride takes approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
