ATTENDEE GUIDANCE

Is This Your First Time Attending an Event?

Is this your very first event experience, or have you participated before?

At this first-ever furry gathering held in a baseball stadium, it’s completely natural to feel a little overwhelmed at first.

You might feel nervous at the beginning—but this event is sure to be an unforgettable experience, offering you the chance to connect with others who share your passion for furry culture, fursuiting, and baseball.

Whether you’re a seasoned attendee or a newcomer, we encourage you to read the following guide to help you get the most out of your experience.

Mental Preparation

An event like this is a celebration—a vibrant gathering of people who share a passion for furry culture, fursuiting, and baseball. If this is your first time attending, it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. Just remember: many participants are here to finally meet online friends in person, showcase their unique furry personas, and connect with others who share their interests.

Health & Well-Being

Don’t stress yourself out! Kaohsiung is full of delicious food—make sure to maintain good personal hygiene, get enough rest, and stay hydrated. Finding what you love and focusing on the experiences that bring you joy will make your time at the event even more meaningful. Listen to your body and take breaks when needed—your comfort comes first!

Set Your Goals

Having clear goals can make your experience more rewarding.
Do you want to play an exciting game with your teammates on the field?
Perform a high-energy cheer routine?
Visit your favorite guest’s booth to chat and pick up some merch?
Interact with fursuiters and capture their best moments?
Or maybe make some new friends along the way?
The more specific your goals, the more fulfilling your event experience will be.

Introduce Yourself

Just as you’re curious about others, they’re likely curious about you too. If you’re not yet comfortable with verbal introductions, you can express yourself through your badge, a personal name tag, or even by handing out business cards or fandom tokens—all great ways to help others get to know you.

Enjoy the Event

You’ll meet a wide variety of fursuiters and furry fans, each with their own unique styles and personalities. Interacting with such a diverse group gives you the chance to explore new hobbies and perspectives. Focus on the things you love, and build positive, meaningful relationships.

At the same time, if someone doesn’t seem interested in connecting, don’t take it personally—it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Embrace the experience as a chance to expand your horizons and discover a wider world.

Essentials to Bring

  • Identification Documents
You’ll need to verify your identity and age on site. For safety reasons, valid ID is required—don’t forget to bring official identification.

  • Participant Badge
Once received, keep your badge with you at all times to ensure smooth entry and re-entry into the venue.

  • Cash
Many vendors only accept cash. Be sure to bring enough for shopping and unexpected needs.

  • Mobile Phone & Charger
Your phone is essential for staying in touch, handling emergencies, and taking photos with fursuiters.
    (Don’t forget your charger!)

  • Change of Clothes
Since the stadium has a red clay surface, it’s a good idea to bring extra clothes in case yours get dirty.

  • Toiletries
If you’re staying at a hotel, note that Taiwanese law prohibits hotels from providing disposable toiletries. Bring your own.

  • Personal Medication
If you have any medical conditions, carry your necessary medications. In case of emergency, this helps medical staff respond appropriately.

Optional but Recommended Items

  • Power Adapter (Taiwan uses 110V, Type A plug)
If you’re traveling from overseas, you may need a voltage converter or adapter.
(Japan’s 100V devices can usually be used directly.)

  • Fursuit Care Items
If you’re bringing a fursuit, pack items such as brushes, deodorizer, and spare underlayers to keep it clean and comfortable.

  • Business Cards
A great way to introduce yourself or exchange contact info with fellow attendees and photographers who may want to send you photos later.

  • Camera
To capture memorable moments at the event or take beautiful shots of your favorite fursuiters.

  • Portable Power Bank
Walking around all day can drain your phone or fan battery. Carry a power bank to stay charged.

  • Snacks and Drinks
You might skip a meal or need a quick hydration boost while enjoying the event—bring a few light snacks or bottled drinks just in case.
